Needing a new way of researching a prospect?

Let me walk you through a speedy demo of how I would conduct account research.

First I would begin by leveraging one of DatabookGPT’s newest prompts The Executive Summary by asking “provide me an executive summary of _____“.

With this query I am able to generate a response that breaks down the account’s financial forecast, industry trends, strategic priorities, investor sentiment, and lastly segment analysis.

And since it is a summary of the account, information for each section is generated in bite-sized pieces, providing me the ability to delve deeper into any topics if I choose.

Now with a high-level understanding of the account, I want to identify what management is focused on at my target account. Im going to leverage the Management Intent prompt —> “What is ____’s management focused on?”

With this query, I am able to generate a summary of what are some key opportunities and details to reference in my future customer meetings.

Lastly, I want to finish up my preliminary research of the account by identifying the account’s budget timeline. By asking “Is ____ open to buying new solutions?” and “What is the budget cycle of ___?”, I can qualify the account while painting a detailed picture of when to initiate outreach.

Hope that was helpful in jumpstarting your research process!
